CloudLogic designed a backup and archive solution that allowed for tiering and classification of data with retention requirements. the design utilizes a 3rd party replication software solution to seamlessly transition data to Amazon Web Services S3 storage solution, where using data classification capabilities and customized retention and lifecycle policies defined and implemented by CloudLogic archival of long term data is transitioned to AWS Glacier Archival Solutions.
Over a 6 month period Gravitus Group reduced their backup and archival costs by 40% and the solution as designed requires minimal intervention from their technology team, allowing them to focus on additional higher value business solutions.
